Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 amβ6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach E&A automotive at (281) 797-5143; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

I don't know if this guy is having a rough time financially but he ripped me off around Christmas. I paid him for a service that I never received. He kept saying he was going to pay me back but after:4 weeks I just decided to handle it legally. It's frustrating that I have to take time out of my workday to get this process going. I advise anyone dealing with home not pay for parts are services in advance.

Jorge seems to be a nice person but when it came to his services it was the complete opposite. I had Jorge come out to make some minor repairs on both my wife and my BMW. He was never on time and we he showed up he claimed it was going to take longer than expected so he would have to come back. He worked on my wifeβs car then claimed it needed something else which I believe was misdiagnosed I paid him the extra money to fix whatever it needed plus the upfront cash for my part and labor. After he completed my wifeβs car he started giving more excuses why he hadnβt fixed my car so finally I asked for a refund and I was told I had to wait. Iβm in the process of taking him to court in the hopes that this doesnβt happen again.

Where do I start ....paid him upfront for parts AND labor even before doing labor because I've known him for more than 20 years. Said it would take one week for catalytic converter and rotors. After 2 months and a half and Soo much patience, He crashed my vehicle, said it was fixed, never could fix the catalytic converter issue because he didn't have the equipment (even though he said he did but text messages proved he didn't) and I ended up having him take it to another body shop to fix the issue he couldn't do and held him responsible for those charges. They fixed it and they kept reaching out to him to let him know and have him pay and pick the vehicle up, he first told them he did have it, then paid $400, and still left them with a balance; they were patient enough until they had my vehicle towed, and on top of that he not only was asking for the money back that he owed them, but didn't even do rotors and wreck damages he said he did- body shop sent me pictures of vehicle in current condition - VERY DISAPPOINTED π. Now, he left my 4 kids and I without a vehicle thanks to him while he is driving around with a new expedition. Good luck to y'all ππ½.

I was very pleased with the work Jorge did on my Ford Taurus and my Volvo, he was also very good at explaining everything that was wrong && his prices were very reasonable. All my family takes their cars to him and he has never let us down:)

Just finished winning a race against a BMW in my Mercedes Benz so thought this was a perfect time to leave a review. my vehicle is a 2014 but Jorge has helped keep my engine running like new. Jorge has the experience of a veteran & works on foreign engines if that gives you an idea of the range that this man has. He is very thorough & goes in great detail on what heβs going to do in order for you to feel apart of the process to understand how to resolve the issue so it never happens again, there are very few like Jorge thatβs why my family uses him for all our vehicles from a Jeep to Nissans, he does it all! 10/10 recommend!
